Corey McCormick is the bassist for Lukas Nelson and Promise of the Real, and with his own project Organa. Check out his performance of “Meloncholism on his custom Yamaha BB Bass, live at EastWest Studios in Hollywood. Built at the Yamaha Guitar Development custom shop in Calabasas, California, Corey’s custom BB features a 2-piece alder body, roasted maple neck with ebony stripe and ebony fingerboard with Custom inlays, Curtis Novak pickups with YGD-made brass rings, Hipshot Ultralite tuners, Yamaha Vintage Plus bridge, and Schaller locking strap pins. The bass also features a custom “Gulf Blue Pearl” finish, with orange stripes on the back to match the custom scratchplate and inlays. This is part two of a two-part series.
